Project Content:

KA203, which will cover a period of 24 months, is a type of project accepted as a Strategic Partnership in the Field of Higher Education. The project is referred to as SMARTRURAL. The SMARTRURAL team consists of 7 universities dynamically involved in tourism development activities in 7 EU countries (Lithuania, Turkey, Spain, Slovenia, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland).

SMARTRURAL which is an example of good practice in smart rural tourism has impacts as follows:

-Increasing awareness, capabilities, knowledge and skills among tourism and rural field students in order to make the right smart rural tourism decisions,
-enhancing student’s interest in starting their own careers in the rural tourism field,
- developing effective smart rural tourism development teaching techniques,
- Identification of gaps in current smart rural tourism development programs
